About MatsClocks

Started in 2012, MatsClocks are simple free flash clocks which displays time. My original website was MatsClock.com but due to some reason, I had to let go of that website for one year in 2025. And in 2026, I have started www.matsclocks.com as my new website. Some matsclock are designed to display local time in your computer and some are designed to display the GMT or Greenwich Meridian Time which is also sometimes called UTC or Universal Time Constant. I have also designed some dual clocks that display both GMT as well as local time. Also I have some flash clocks designed to show you both Local time and GMT with a single mouse click so that the clock is not cluttered up. All these GMT and country clocks were in Flash which has been discontinued. So, I started designing live time clocks in PowerPoint PPTX. MatsClocks Video explains how to use MatsClock Free Flash Clocks. All MatsClocks are inside one downloadable compressed Zip file. You can use any compression program like WinZip to extract the MatsClock inside the .Zip file.

Why the name MatsClocks.Com ?

People who know me call me Mats which is a short version of my name. Clocks have always fascinated me. I love Clocks and Watches. I never miss a chance to go to all the watch and clock shops in my area or where ever I go to watch time pass gracefully in each of them. This craze for watches and clocks inspired me to create some clocks that run like a real clock and I started designing simple flash clocks. I had to display my clock designs some where and what is better than showing my creations on the web. I named my website MatsClocks.Com and gave my flash clocks a brand name MATSCLOCK and thus my web site gets its name www.matsclocks.com

Why Change Over to PowerPoint Live Clock Time?

But now Flash program has gone off the internet due to some loopholes found in its codes. First apple stopped supporting flash and then google followed. Now even adobe who bought flash from macromedia has stopped supporting flash. So, I had to change over to Microsoft PowerPoint PPTX. Now I design live watches and clocks with seconds, minutes and hours needles that show live time on your PowerPoint Presentation Slides. MatsClocks are Free to Download and Use in any presentation.

MatsClocks Gallery

As I designed new clocks, I felt the need to show them to the world. Thus my website became my Clock Gallery where I show off all my Clocks and watches to those people who are interested in time and clocks like me. I don't copy any clock design from the internet or from any real mechanical clocks or watches. I just sit and play around with my designs. Sometimes I start with the needle design and some times I may start with the clock frame design. Certainly, the needles and frames will have some resemblance to some clock I may have seen somewhere. As on date I have a few dozen clocks and watches on display on my web site and more keeps getting added. I created my own website and manage as well. My Clocks Gallery will continue to grow as long as I get some spare time to develop new time and clock designs.

Why is MatsClock Free ?

I pay a few hundred dollars of my hard earned money to keep my website time ticking, every year. But since I am pursuing my hobby and creating time and clocks, I want to just get the satisfaction of people seeing my flash clocks which in turn will give me satisfaction. All my live Clock are Free to Download, Free to Distribute and Free to Use on any Powerpoint Presentation Slides or just run on any computer anywhere in the world to show time to yourself of your audience, as long as the user does not change or modify my clocks to continue to direct people back to my Clock Gallery. But there is one more reason for MatsClocks.com

MatsClock & Global Warming

www.matsclocks.com also aims at bringing about awareness amongst its flash clock viewers world over to reduce the effects of global warming by giving them a choice to stop buying physical watches/clocks and start using software clocks on their computers and phones etc. thereby reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases and cutting of trees necessary to create the time pieces. I know it sounds off the track to you. But it is my sincere effort and contribution to the world weather they use a MatsClocks or not, they will get educated about global warming and cannot use their lack of knowledge as an excuse.
